Begbie Cottage is small but perfectly formed with an outside patio and a covered porch so you can store your coats and shoes and dry any washing.

There is a small shower room with an electric shower, toilet and basin off this covered patio. The kitchen has a electric hob and oven, under counter fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle and washing machine.

The kitchen leads into the lounge/dining space with electric heating and a smart TV. Upstairs you’ll find the bunk room, the double bedroom and a bathroom with a mains shower over the bath.

Busy Bowness-on-Windermere is a popular destination for so many visitors to the Lake District and for good reason – there really is something for everyone! Pottering around the many independent shops, grab a bite to eat in a café, a drink in one for the many bars and pubs, or enjoy fine dining in one of the towns excellent restaurants.

From Bowness Bay you can take a ride on one of the famous Lake Windermere steamers or hire a boat and go exploring the lake at your own pace.

This well-connected town is also an ideal base from where to explore the National Park and the beautiful scenery at every turn.
