The property has a fully equipped kitchen with two large larders, combination microwave oven, double electric oven, induction hob, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Off the kitchen you’ll find the first of two reception rooms and through this is the large dining room with seating for eight.

Next to the dining room is a large lounge with cosy seating, wood burning stove, TV and views across the countryside. Up the stairs you’ll find a double bedroom with a small ensuite on the right and the master bedroom with an ensuite and private enclosed balcony.

Across the hallway is a twin bedroom and the second double bedroom either side of the family bathroom with separate shower.

There’s an outdoor dining area and hot tub where you can relax in the fresh Lakeland air.

Local area information

The village of Ings is an ideal base with great access to the Lake District.

There is an excellent award-winning pub, The Watermill, which brews it’s own beer and serves great food daily. There’s a new café, Bike Treks bike store, and a filling station with a shop.

Bankfield is situated on the A591, perfect for driving into the Lakes, and there’s also a cycle route right outside with easy access to both road and mountain biking trails. The River Gowan flows through the village and is home to herons, dippers and the native white-clawed crayfish. You’ll see buzzards, red kites and the occasional red squirrel.
